I just love my new Kitchenaide Blender. I was looking for a great price and Sears had it on sale. Also I was looking for the Empire Red to match my food processor and mixer.
The blender has a great motor, not noisey and crushes ice perfectly. Washes up great because the blades and cup are all one unit.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, High quality, Stain resistant, Attractive design

This blender was bought primarily for smoothies and it just didn't have the power to chop the fruit. Too bad, Kitchen Aid is a good name I expected better.

I love this blender!

I was looking for a blender that would make smoothies. I use mostly frozen fruit and do not like to add a lot of fluid. This blender works great, and fast. I do make sure that I rinse it right away as it is all one piece and would be hard to clean if left to harden on.

Pros:Â Stylish

Cons:Â Hard to clean

A great blender for the money. Truly crushes ice with no added liquid.
Shatter resistant plastic jar is nice and light and dishwasher safe.

The blade assembly and jar do not come apart. I have one and could not take it apart the first time i tried..then read the manual it is one piece...super difficult to clean so i would recommend using a dishwasher for a thorough clean.
