Excellent Coffer Maker

Bought the coffee maker even after reading the reviews that it leaked - willing to give it a try. Have had it now for over a month without a leak. Very happy with it. Looks beautiful in our kitchen.

IT LEAKS!!!!!

I bought this a year ago. I always found a puddle of water under the pot every time. I stopped removing the tank, but the leaks got worse. There seems to be a design flaw with the removable tank!
Another problem, the carafe. No matter what I did when pouring from the carafe (slow, fast or whatever) I always managed to get hot coffee spilled on the counter.
I called Kitchenaid for the warranty, they replaced it, but it took almaost two months. and now I'ved noticed that it still has a leaking problem, however the carafe no longer dribbles.
I would not buy this again and warn everyone not to get this. It is too expensive a mistake!

Very Leaky Pot!!

This coffee maker was not worth the price. I was really disappointed that the pot leaked EVERY time we poured a cup of coffee, whether we poured slow or fast. And it seemed to leak from under the plastic rim, between the glass pot and the spout. It also spilled from the spout as well if you poured it too fast. I expected better quality for what we paid. There seems to be a few reviews about the leaky pot, so we weren't the only unlucky ones. We took it back to our local Sears store and they were great and let us exchange it for a totally different brand of coffee maker.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Stylish

Cons:Â Not well constructed, pot leaks, takes up quite a bit of counter space

I have the same problem as a previous customer, the carafe leaks when pouring..alot. I have ordered another one to take the carafe out and hope the new one pours better, if not I will be returning the entire thing.

Leaky Pot

Does anyone have a problem with the pot leaking below the spout where the plastic and glass meet when it is hot????
It doesn't seem to leak when it is cold. I have only been using it for a week and wonder if they are all like that or if I got a dud and should return it.
Otherwise I like it because it makes good coffee and keeps it hot too.
