Love Keurig!

We have both the B60 and the B40 Keurig brewers, one for tea's and one for coffee's as we find that the coffee flavor transfers to the tea. Love the machines, very easy to just pop in a coffee or tea of our choice and it's fresh and ready in seconds. The only problem that we have had is on occasion we get a k-cup that has a bad seal and the coffee grinds end up in the cup. This has only happened about 10 times out of over 100 so maybe it was just a bad batch of k-cups that we got. That said I would still purchase another keurig if needed in the future. Would have rated this a 4.5 but it won't let me. My parents have a tassimo and I don't like it at all.

I Love My Keurig!

I love freshly brewed coffee but not after it has sat around for awhile. The Keurig is the perfect answer to this, as each cup is freshly brewed. Cleanup is a breeze...just throw the K-Cup into the recycle bin and bingo it's cleaned up! I also love that there are so many coffees to choose from. This has given me the opportunity to try many different brands and some of them are awesome! Do I sound like I love my Keurig...well I do!!

Pros:Â Easy to clean, High quality, Attractive design, easy to learn how to use it, large variety of coffees to choose from

Highly superior to the Tassimo. More brands of coffee, larger holding tank, quicker brew. The only downfall is not having the milk cups.

Awesome coffee maker! Very fast! Lots of varieties of k-cups! And like the fact you can purchase a reusable k-cup filter so you can use your own coffee!

Great product

After using the conventional coffee makers for years and finding them wanting I tried the single brewing coffee maker. I was really happy with the product quick to use, no wasting of coffee. I liked the product so much I purchased two additional ones for presents for my son's and their spouses. They too loved the coffee maker. I would never go back to a conventional coffee maker again

Does the Keurig Brewer, item 113 081 814 10 include the my-K-cup reuseable coffee filter or does that have to be purchased separately? If so, can the my K cup filter be purchased online also at sears.ca?

No it doesn't come with the resusable coffee filter but it can be purchased on sears.ca. It does come with 18 k-cup samples.

Recyclable, no.....Reusable, yes!
I rinse them after use and set them aside in a small basket (filter and all).
I use them for gardening. The size is perfect for planting seeds. After you've brewed your perfect cup of coffee, the cup comes out with a hole already punched in...perfect for draining excess water when seeding. All you need is to add a tray. Why buy planting trays....You already have them through your K-Cups. If you're not into gardening...collect them anyway. Give them to a friend or neighbour that does.
Voila....!!!!

I know these Kcups are not recyclable but to make me feel better I clean out the coffee grind from the Kcup and dump it in my green box, I know it's a bit more work but it just makes me feel better about the recycling.

The challenge of protecting the freshness of roasted coffee while using environmentally friendly packaging is one that both KeurigÂ® and the coffee industry are committed to overcoming. We are very sensitive about the waste created by the K-Cups, and are investigating alternative materials. Finding a solution for this is a priority for us, and one we hope to have before long.

Hello,

Model B60 gives you the choice of a large mug which will yield a 9.25 oz. serving, a small mug which will yield a 7.25 oz. serving and a small cup which will yield a 5.25 oz. serving.

While Model B40 gives you the choice of a large mug which will yield a 9.25 oz. serving and a small mug which will yield a 7.25 oz. serving.

The strength of the coffee in each brew size would depend on the K-Cup you select as K-Cups come in multiple brew sizes.
