OK for hard surface floors only

This vacuum has ok suction, but not good at all on carpets. The full bag light has never worked. Cleaning tools included are so small they are useless. I use brush and crevice attachments from an old vacuum I had instead.

Cons:Â Not well constructed

I am very disappointed with this vacuum. I have always bought my vacuums from sears and bought the kenmore brand because the vacuums were amazing. This buy was such a disappointment, the pieces that tell that the bag is full has fallen apart and the suction in itself is horrible that I am shopping for another vacuum because I can't stand working with it anymore.

Cons:Â Not well constructed, does not preform well

I borrowed this vacuum from a friend and loved it so much I decided to buy one. I have a larger vacuum, however, I wanted something easier & lighter for quicker jobs & for bare floors. It picks up everything my larger vacuum does with 1/2 the weight. I recommend it and the price is great!

After 6 months or so, hose no longer attaches to body because clips have broken. Will cost almost as much as a new vacuum to replace hose, so had to make do. Wheels broke off nozzle head. Can't replace them. Had to buy a new nozzle head from local vacuum store for $20. Handle constantly comes away from hose and drops on floor.

After a few monthes it has lost the actual power and you need to go over and over the desired area to remove the dirt and dust. Even after much effort still there is some dust and dirt left on the floor.
The hose attachment is always falling off the rod, and smashes my toes !

Mine has stopped working after 7 monthes and I have to send it for the service!

The 'MD' is actually the French translation of the trademark designation for the Kenmore brand. In English, our designation is a circled 'R' for 'Registered Trademark'. The French version is 'MD' for 'Marque Deposee' which translates to the same.

Vacuum bag installation

I just bought a new supply of bags for my mod# 23050 canister vac but the bag keeps falling off the hose shaft inside. Am I missing a retaining ring or ???. It's my son's vacuum and I haven't tried to replace bags previously.
