Rated 4 out of 5 by from Micro-onde Bel allure. Nous devons "s'amuser" un peu avec le livre d'instruction, compliqué. La débrouilliardise est de mise. Quand même, choix multiples de cuisson.... Le prix est accomodant. Pas bruillant, fonctionne bien.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase gorgeous, looks small but it's not... tons of features... some strong smell and lots of smoke came out of the first few convection uses, i guess that's normal... i think i don't know how to use the convection yet, it seems very long to heat a food plate... i bought the floor model so i don't have a manual... still use the microwave, works great! fast and easy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be Aware... Be aware that this microwave has special installation instructions! I got this microwave home - VERY excited and opened the box to find that it cannot be installed on a normal kitchen counter or a microwave shelf that is built in as it requires 12 inches of clearance above the microwave! In the install diagram, it shows the microwave on a separate cart. I had to return the microwave because, well, there was no place of it in my kitchen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of both world I really like this one I roast a chicken and it came out juicy and crisp, made a banana bread its was brown and fluffy. keep in mind this is like a regular oven and a microwave together. the instruction manual is not good but you could figure it out. It's nice looking inside and out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Interesting idea, but... This microwave took up too much space (very bulky due to the convection oven component). It was also very noisy. I returned it to the store and will get a standard microwave, instead of a convection / microwave unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, convection and microwave combo gives you the best of both worlds. Only drawback is the poor manual. It does not explain the different cooking methods, and a few recipes would have been nice.

Kenmore Combo Microwave/Convection Oven

When using the convection feature do you have to remove the glass turntable? What happens to the little fixture that appears to be plastic that makes the turntable rotate if the glass plate has to be removed to use the convection feature? The Manual is less than useless.
Asked by: Linnylou
Hello LinnyLou, There is no mention in the Instruction Manual about removing the glass tray, turntable shaft or ring assembly when using the convection feature. In fact, on page 8 there are instructions given under "Installation Notes" that state both glass tray and turntable ring assembly must be used during cooking. In order for the turntable to work the shaft would have to remain in as well. When using the convection feature do not remove the glass turntable. Thank you for shopping Sears.
