Energuide Rating (kWh/Year)
EnerGuide Rating (kWh/Year): rating is your guide to energy efficiency. It tells you how energy efficient a particular model
is. The label provides information on the amount of kWh per year the model will use under normal circumstances. The lower
the number, the less electricity the appliance uses.
Energy Star Qualified
Appliances become ENERGY STAR qualified products when they meet the minimum energy efficiency requirements, as set out in
the Energy Efficiency Act and Energy Efficiency Regulations; and the prescribed ENERGY STAR levels, as determined by Natural
Resource Canada

Expandable Elements
Expandable Elements: There are two elements in one location. It looks like one large circular element, but hidden within it
is a smaller circular element with a lower wattage. Ideal for cooking jobs requiring several sized pots. For smaller pots,
a simple touch of the switch activates only the inner element, saving energy and helping prevent burns from an exposed element.
For larger pots the element can be switched back into full service.
Bridged Type Radiant Element - This system allows you
to expand two separate elements into one large one. The two right elements (back and front) can be joined to one another,
creating an element that can accommodate large pots, such as a roasting pan.

use.
Hidden Bake Element
Hidden Bake Element: The hidden bake element goes beneath the surface. Because the baking element is not exposed, the hidden
bake element provides more evenly balanced heat distribution by warming both the bottom and the sides of the oven cavity.
This means better baking performance. And, because the element is 'hidden' from view by the porcelain oven cavity, cleanup
is easy adn the bake element is protected from spills and drips that fall to the bottom of the oven.
Convection Conversion
Convection Conversion: Great convection results can be achieved with the convection conversion feature. All you need to do
is select from three categories of foods (Baked Goods, Meats, Other Foods) and enter the normal cooking time and temperature
for that selection. The convection conversion feature automatically converts the standard recipes to convection times and
temperatures.
Convection Element Power (W)
Convection Element Watts: An element located on the inside back wall of the oven around the convection fan. It provides an
additional source of heat for convection-style cooking.
Convection Fan
Convection Fan: In convection mode, a fan automatically comes on to improve air circulation within the oven and create a more
even heat for cooking. Because the temperature is even throughout a convection oven, it's possible to cook three racks of
cookies at once without burning the bottom
Cavity Material
Cavity Material: Porcelain on Steel: A traditional cavity material for ovens.
Stainless Steel oven interior: Increasingly
