Ratings & reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works For Us! Like other reviews this mattress is thin - mind you the cot mattress provided at the hospital at birth wasn't much better lol - baby has slept fine so far, likes that it can rock - we have hardwood. Also had to alter crib sized flat sheets and mattress covers to have bedding... a pain for those whose moms aren't seamstresses but the cheaper way to go!-especially if you're not into the bumper pad etc. idea. Definitely one of the cheapest out there in bassinets that was neutral and not full of fabric and frills - trust me I searched for months!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very hard bed for baby - Very hard surface for baby's head. Mattress is very thin. - Impossible to find fitted sheets for this mattress. I had to make my own. There are some sheet/bedding sets but they are expensive and you will need at least 3 fitted sheets to have on hand. I also did not want to use a quilt or bumper in the cradle as this is a major SIDS risk and the only sets I could find consisted of bumper, quit and fitted sheet. - Cradle itself is of decent quality. I just did not like it for the reasons mentioned above. I did not mind having to make the sheets so much, but it was the poor quality mattress/pad that turned me off. -Also the rocking was not very smooth on carpet. Baby never liked it. -We ended up replacing it with a Pack n' play with bassinet shortly after baby was born and have had him sleeping in that. - I believe the jolly jumper cradle is also only good for up to 18 lbs or something like that which so not great if you plan to co-sleep for more than 4-6 mos. The boards that support the mattres are also very thin, fiber boards. Our baby was 17 lbs at 5 months and co-slept next to our bed until 7.5 months or approx 21-22lbs so this would not have worked for us long term.
