Tip 1 - get a spare foam filter so you can use your vac while the other one is being washed. The instruction book says wash monthly but its definitely weekly at most, and you cant use it if its wet.

Excellent, excellent performance on any carpet we've tried.

Great on hard floors just cant quite suck up dirt on the edge. It will, only if the front of the vac is pushed right against the wall.

Not quite as versatile as the Dyson Digital Slim, but an easy $100+ cheaper, so you get what you pay for. Also the battery has amazing life compared to the Dyson. Dyson 6 minutes, Linx at least 12-15. No contest there.

Overall satisfied, some of the rubber is peeling off the handle we use it so much.

Daily use in a house with 3+ kids has held up well. And YES, it passes the Cheerio test!

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Well constructed, quick charging, long lasting battery

Cons:Â not the best edge pickup, foam filter requires washing frequently

Ever since we installed laminate flooring in our upstairs, I've been searching for something for quick cleaning (instead of dragging our big vacuum up and down the stairs). After returning many cheaper stick vacuums, I finally tried this one, based on so many positive reviews elsewhere (the product is cheaper at Sears than anywhere else I looked). I love it! On one charge, it cleans the entire upstairs of our 3-bedroom townhouse (3 bedrooms, bathroom and hallway) several times over. It's so light and easily cleans corners and along the edges. So far, I'm delighted with this vacuum!

The greatest stick vacuum

The Linx is exceptional for such a small cleaner. Being cordless makes it easy to use, and emptying the canister is a breeze! I was amazed by its suction, and the battery is easily removed for charging, which is very quick, and being removable it is possible to have a second battery charging while the other is in use. I love it!

from what we have noticed its 12-18 minutes, using the brushroll of course puts it in the 12 minute range, while suction only it seems to last longer than advertised

Hello Queenie21,

The HooverÂ® LiNX Stick Vacuum will run for approximately 12-13 minutes before it needs to be recharged. This is dependant, however, on the floor type and whether the brush roll is in use. This unit uses a 18V Lithium ion battery which ensures the battery sustains power until completely drained. It also has a battery level indicator on the unit that instantly registers the remaining battery life.
