while the reviews previously boast of the compact design, no one mentions that the toast well is so small that a normal piece of slice dbread is BIGGER than the well is designed for. So unless you are toasting a very small sized loaf, part of the slice does NOT get toasted. Secondly, even on the maximum setting, the toast doesn't get as dark as my last toaster could do, and NOT to my liking. Nice and compact.. TOO compact! Would not buy again.

Great toaster

It does toast bread much quicker than other toasters I've had. I like the fact that the bread stays inside once it's toasted, that way it stays warm. Nice sleek design, doesn't take much room on the counter. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Recent purchase and have not actually used the toaster as yet as my old (brushed stainless steel) is still working. This is a black finish so hoping it won't show every mark and be less work to keep looking presentable.

what is the length of the single slot where the 2 slices of bread goes in?

Would 2 slices of rye bread fit side by side?
