lid of machine broke within a month

I did a lot of research before buying this coffee pot, it has good reviews and makes a good, hot cup of coffee. However the lid of the machine broke within the first month. This needs to be opened in order to fill the water reservoir and add the grounds, and needs to close properly for the water to flow through the grounds. We have to be sure to fiddle with it every time we make coffee and are sure it's just a matter of time before the lid won't close properly. I'm looking for a new coffee maker.

Great coffeepot

This coffeepot is small and takes minimal space on the counter. It is quick and the coffee is hot. The strength dial works well.
