great slow cooker

this works great - has a tight lid so that sputtering is eliminated, love the clamps to make it portable. Very stylish looking as well.

have made a few meals in my slow cooker and so far like it.
one thing though - the indicator light on the unit didn't work (out of the box). the unit heats up okay - it just doesn't light up to show that it's actually on.

i contacted Hamilton Beach and they're sending me a new unit. good customer service and a good product.

Best slowcooker ever!!!

The temperature is just right on this slowcooker. It has a gasket around the lid for less leakage. The handles clamp down & the handy spoon clamps onto the lid for easy transportation. So far there are no "hot spots". I love the dial instead of digital because when the power goes out temporarily, the slowcooker comes back on when the power does. Digital slowcookers won't come back on. The size is perfect for a busy hungry family of 4.
