Excellent machine - where's the filter?

This is the second time I've purchased this type of coffee maker from this Company - great fro the office because no one has to watsh the carafe. However, I don't understand why they don't come with a reusable coffee filter - especially this new model which slopes forward at the top a bit so generic coffee filters don't actually fit. We use one anyway, the lid just doesn't lay completely flat, but it works. It is the only flaw with this coffee maker but it is a biggie in my opinion.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Well constructed, Comfortable, Stylish

Cons:Â no coffee filter

We purchased this coffeemaker as a replacement for a BrewStation that was 8 years old. We love the new features, ease of use, and delicious coffee. In addition, the new style is very attractive in our kitchen.

Ok if you like water, everywhere

We bought two of them and the first was leaking in the sink when I filled it up and started walking away from the sink, all broken under the bucket where the spout lever is.
The second,,, as soon as you are done dumping the water in the machine and bring the bucket back to the upward position it starts to leak from under the bucket where there are two misterious holes and where that water came from I dont know. It is like some leakes off into the under side of bucket, stores there till you turn it back upward and then dumps out the hole, and this isnt the spout hole either. It dumper a few tables spoons worth of water all over the counter. Pretty bad, two for two on the same day gone wrong.

Pros:Â woulda been nice no caraf to deal with, looks like a cool machine, i have the 10 cup machine and it is good, except it drops water all down the back, when the lid is opened for cleaning

Cons:Â Not well constructed, two on same day. leaking water, one broken and the other a mysterious, leak from bottom of bucket

Different Colour Availability

Are either the Cuisinart or the Hamilton Beach coffeemakers sold at Sears offered in the colour RED? Both companies always had a Red/Silver choice in the past and I understand preference has swung back to stainless and black, but I wonder if I can still buy a Red one through your catalogue or on-line. Thank you!

We currently do not carry a Cusinart or Hamilton Beach coffee maker in red.

We do however carry a Kitchen Aid coffee maker in red, which can be found in select Sears retail locations.
