Solid Dresser

This is a great piece for the price. I bought it on sale and while it did take about 2 1/2 hours to put it together (although I was 8 months pregnant when I did it, so I took my time) it looks really good in the nursery. There is not as much storage space as I thought, so I am now waiting for the 5 drawer dresser to go on sale so I can add that!

Pros:Â Sturdy, Well-built, Stylish

Cons:Â drawers were a bit difficult to assemble

This definitely requires assembly, as well as a lot of tweaking. I spent two hours assembling mine, and it is nowhere near worth the amount of money i spent for it.

Type of wood? Quality?

Q:Â

What kind of wood is the dresser made from? (i.e., pine, oak, birch, etc.)

Which parts of the dresser are made of solid wood and which parts are made of wood product?

How difficult is it to put together? (A lot of people have said that the Kimberly by Graco is very difficult to assemble). Once it's together is it something that is built to last or is it flimsy and likely to fall apart?

the dresser is made of MDF and scraps of wood. The quality is horrible. Products like these are made on Computer controled machines, the fit and finish should be excellent, but the one I bought is garbage.
