Worked great, but...

We purchased this item for our newborn to sleep in beside our bed, until I was comfortable putting him in his crib overnight. It worked great for that purpose, and if this is all you are looking for I would highly recommend it. Th problem I hadn't considered initially is that, with it being considerably smaller than a standard playpen, now that my son is over a year old we really can't use it much anymore. I would like to take it for him to nap in on trips, but he has more than outgrown it. We would have been better off purchasing one of the full sized playpens, with bassinette attachment.

Excellent Bassinet

Space was an issue in our bedroom and this bassinet was a lifesaver! Our daughter loves her bed and especially enjoys the 2 setting vibrations. Also great for us is the convenient light that has 2 settings for these first time parents. Great start before heading into her own room and crib. Easy to move from living room to bedroom & out onto the patio...

Great Bassinet!

We really like this Bassinet. It doesn't take up too much room at all. Our daughter has been sleeping in it since she game home from the hospital and she has lots of room. Very easy to put together and back up for travel.

There is no 'bedding' sold for the bassinet. Baby blankets can be used.

Size and weight of this bassinet vs. billy bee 4 in 1 bassinet

we are hesitating between graco bassinet and the billy 4 in 1 bassinet. We dont have much room in our bedroom on my wife side of the bed because there is a dresser there. I wanted to know which one of these two bassinets is more light and smaller in width? (the billy bee is expressed in diameters, hard to compare with the Graco one).

The 2 products on line seem to show the dimensions defined differently
Graco width from the bedside is 22.8"
Bily width from the bed is 13.25"
I think the Bily is lighter, but it doesn't fold up

Unlike crib bumpers which is what i think your nurse was referreing to, these bumpers are sewn in so there is no way for the baby to get under or tangled up in them in any way.
