Can these tiles be used on a concrete floor with in floor heating? How much would these tiles reduce the heat being radiated from the floor?

Hello Xander,

Our buyers have indicated that the Gladiator tiles can be used on heated concrete floors. The installer must consider that these tiles are subject to expansion/contraction due to heat/cold - if the heat is turned on and off, the floor will expand and contract. Proper clearance is needed to allow the floor to expand otherwise, buckling may occur. The tiles will insulate the floor, and hold some of the heat. We can't say for sure what the total impact will be.

The Gladiator Tile Flooring does come in colours white and black as well as other colours. The tiles can be seen in the 2010 Sping/Summer catalogue on page 535, item N.

These tiles do not interlock with other brands.

Hello Penny,

The GladiatorÂ® Tile Flooring is made of non-porous and chemical-resistant material which withstands common spills and the temperature extremes of the garage. Underlay is not required. The tiles are 0.5" thick. For more information on this product, including installation instructions, please view the Gladiator's website.
