Rated 5 out of 5 by from GE Slide-In Range This is our first slide-in smooth top range & so far so good. The range is simple to use and functions perfectly. The elements heat up exceptionally fast and the added indication of a 'hot' element is a useful safety feature. Baking & roasting is a breeze. Love the large oven. Roasted a medium turkey using the convection feature and it came out perfectly. We haven't tried the self clean feature yet. The installation was a challenge #not due to the stove# due to the nature of our counter top and back splash #granite# but with skilled persistence we successfully accomplished a perfect fit without the need of the supplied back filler. The look is clean and functional.
