love these boots

super comfortable, the heel height is just right for actually even walking a bit in these boots. i coated them with mink oil to make sure they don't let in any water (in rainy Vancouver) and they've been just fine. i have them in both black and brown.

I coated mine in mink oil to make sure and they haven't leaked. I have no problem getting them on but it probably depends on your calf size. I really love these boots!

Hello Kerissa,

The proper way to buy boots is based on shoe size not shaft circumference at the top line. The fit of the shaft depends on more than the top line circumference ie the fit at the ankle and calf. Our boots shaft circumference is proportioned to the shoe size and if a customer has trouble fitting into tall shaft boots the she should be looking for a wide fit boot. Fortunately the shaft on this boot is a man made stretch material and will be more forgiving than most.
