Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dreadful service from the manufacturer After I assembled the product the flywheel made a thumping noise and I could feel a jarring sensation in the pedal on each rotation. With the product there was a sheet of paper instructing purchasers with problems not to go to the store but rather to phone Dyaco. When I phoned I was told that it was my responsibility to disassembly the fly wheel assembly and figure out what was wrong. But this part arrived already assembled by the factory and had been shipped to me even though it was defective. When I pointed this out, I was rudely told it was my problem. My complaint is NOT with Sears; It's with Dyaco's total lack of response to their faulty part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT Recommend This bike was great for about a month and then the electronic monitor crashed. I thought it was the batteries and checked the wiring but it wasn't either. Just not a very well built bike. Too much trouble to have it fixed so spent more money for better quality. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One of those products That is so bad that any company that is associated with it is tarnished. Its cheaply made. The batteries don't last & when it breaks down you have go haul it somewhere to fix. It's been in twice & now that it's stopped working, it's going to grace our city's landfill for a few centuries…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everlast magnetic Recumbent Bike Found it easy to set up. Easy to use. Would recommend this bike to other people. I have gradually gotten up to ten miles a day. Like the fact that it has the differnt levels of biking on it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not suitable for fitness training The bike seems well made and is comfortable, althought the seat could be placed back a bit for better comfort. The main issue is that the magnetic tension system does not deliver nearly enough tension on maximum for a good workout. I have set to maximum and I cycle for 35 minutes at an average speed setting of 30 (fast peddling) and am not able to get my heart rate over 120. I am 72. Be sure to try this bike before you buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It I have tried other recumbents but have never been comfortable on them - not the case with this one. Both myself and my husband love it and are using it daily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We saved up our loose change too buy this bike, ordered it with anticipation, and we were not disapointed. The asembly instructions were easy to read, took about 1 hour, and we were riding. A very good product, and a good investment.

tension too strong

i just put together my everlast recumbent cycle and though the computer works, the tension is way too strong, even on the lowest level. Did I do something wrong when I put it together? If it can not be changed, i will have to return it because i can't ride it like this. It also doesn't seem to change regardless of which program I put it on.

Batteries?

Does this require batteries to operate the LCD? How long does the unit last on batteries?
Asked by: Verno
No batteries required...You do have to plug it into a 120Volt houshold outlet. It uses a small converter type plug to power the display. It shuts automatically after each use.
