The cons outweigh the pros after I have used this vacuum at least 5 times a week for my workplace, for about 1-2 years. Pros: lightweight, easy to pull out hose, easy to manuver.
Cons: It's hard to unscrew the remvable top to empty the canister and I need someone to hold the base as I unscrew the top! (so I don't empty the canister after every use as the instructions recommend). The hepa filter gets dirty easily and has to be replaced often - which gets expensive and this causes loss of suction! The vacuum handle is coloured (red) and the paint transfers to anything you bang the handle on by accident.

Cons:Â Not well constructed

what happened?

half a year ago, i bought this very model of vacuum cleaner. i had owned the same kind before, and had been pleased with it's performance.

Not only did the filter rip apart after 1 month, but it was next to impossible to find a replacement filter. The round handle came off, the indicator light stopped working and now the motor has burned out. I am presently trying to decide if i had bought a defective vacuum, or if the product itself is not what it used to be.

Since I live in a small apt., it did not burn out from overuse; and since I am fairly incapacitated and housebound for days at times, it would not have been easy for me to bring it back to the store.

I must say that I am disappointed. I was told that the filters were not being made anymore, since the model had been replaced with a new model. (Mine was the latest model of that design. I seriously doubt buying the same type of vacuum cleaner again.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, fairly lightweight

Cons:Â Not well constructed, filters were difficult to find, needs longer hose attachment, head of vacuum too large

It's a nice Vacum, but just cannot find a filter in Sears store.
I recommend this one to my friends. Powerful and light.
