Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review We have had this unit for almost five years. The overall quality and reliability has been very good and I am pleased with the service I have gotten out of the unit. I see no reason it will not last us many more years. I would recommend that at least two burners have the simmer feature. It should also have a light or other means to indicate the burner is in use. When using the simmer setting it is difficult to see that the burner is on. We recently had a requirement for service. The serial, model number tag could not be found on the unit. The speculation by the servicing company was that a tag had not been put on the unit by the vendor. Electrolux should do this at the factory to assure a serial and model number are available when needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review Being a short person I've discovered that the control panel in front sticks out too far and gets in my way so I have to reach back further to do my cooking. Love the range and oven though. So far all is working wonderfully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from burners Burners seem to be to high for a nice simmer. Sometimes they woof at you too. Love the oven racks gliding out so smooth. Cleaning top is not my favorite job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointed purchase OVEN LIGHT BULBS go out often and are difficult to change(poor design) OVEN BAKE: takes too long to reach desired temperature. BROILING ELEMENT works fine. STAINLESS STEEL is too soft, consequently scratches EASILY. CLEANING the stove-top not easy. Even just boiling water requires a WIPE-DOWN.. One BURNER KNOB is broken because of POOR DESIGN !!! (MOST PRICEY RANGE I HAVE EVER PURCHASED WITH BIG REGRETS). My decision to purchase was based on Brand Name and asthetic looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great range We love all the features of our new Electrolix range. Multiple sized burners is nice to have when cooking meals with reductions or sauces and cooking other side dishes also.
Date published: 2014-05-01
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overpriced Let Down While it looks nice, this stove has been a huge let down.  For the multiple thousands of dollars spent on it, in about a year, only the gas top is currently working.  The oven shuts itself off and displays an F15 error which after Googling appears to be something that has happened to many other disappointed Electrolux customers.  We are now waiting for the repairman to come back for the fourth time in hopes to fix it. Besides the fact that the oven is not working, the gas top is nice, but the headaches are not worth the nice features in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this stove.  Buy something cheaper and take a trip somewhere nice with the money you save!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love dual heat sources Extremely happy to have dual heat sources. Not so fond of the oven(s) control panel as the slightest touch activates the display.  Even a droplet of water turns the panel on.  The gas grates do not seem to be level as my pans rock slightly while stirring food being prepared.  Took awhile to get the gas flames adjusted.   Husband was able to adjust all but one stubborn burning and a repairman had to be called.  He also struggled with the burner, but after some time, he was able to make the needed correction.  Lower oven is best suited for warming instead of actually baking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove and oven I have had my 30" gas stove with the electric dual ovens for several months now and I really love it! Having the 2 ovens came in extremely handy over the holidays and I love the way the oven racks work in the larger oven! We did the "perfect turkey" mode and it really did work well. The smaller oven is great when we just want to make something small and is more cost effective. The function of the oven/stove is great, but I also really like the looks of it. My husband and I have both remarked that it is the nicest looking stove we have ever had! I would give it 5 stars in all the categories and would definitely recommend it to others! Thanks, Kathy

Electrical outage

Is is possible to cook on the gas cook-top if the electricity is not working?
Asked by:
Yes you can. However you would have to light the burner manually with a lighter or a match as the electric light would not work during power outage. One of the reasons we choose a gas stove as well.

Cabinet protection

Do we have to tell our cabinet maker if a piece of sheet metal has to be applied on either side of the stove/oven? (It is hard to tell on the website.) Also would you advise a protective piece of metal or some other matter be put down on the floor beneath the warming drawer if we are having hardwood flooring? Is there a chance the warming drawer could potentially burn the floor?
Asked by: mb924
We have tile and it does get hot underneath. I don' recommend this stove at all though (read my review). Our cabinet maker did not install sheet metal for this stove. It does stick out further than a regular slide in stove.

Appliance concerns

How durable is the stainless steel surface under the gas burners? Does the S.S. surface discolour? How easy is it to clean burnt on foods without leaving a mark? What cleaning products are used to clean S.S. on the top and the front? Do the ballbearing shelves in the oven continue to glide smoothly after lots of use or do they start to stick? Do you grease the ballbearings and with what? Betsey from North of To.
Asked by: Betsey
Hello Betsey, Attached are the cleaning and care instructions for the stainless steel top. The oven racks must be removed for self-cleaning (range will not allow you to go into self-clean with them in). No other care is required for the racks.
