Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Not good value for the money. Large burner was sealed..it was replaced, but it has never worked properly. It burns blue and dirty and is difficult to get started. Numbers disappeared from controls using plain warm water to clean. Fuse blew after each cleaning, was replaced. Bottom oven is more like a warming drawer..so small. The few times we used it, it locked like it does during the cleaning process. We would definitely do more homework before investing in such an expensive appliance. On the plus side, it looks nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money The stove itself worked fine at first - we were very pleased. But it scratches extremely easily - we've had it for less than a year and it looks more beat up on the top than my 10 year old glass cooktop. In addition, it has lots of burners, but it kicks out the breaker if you have more than 2 burners going while the oven is going. In addition, the bottom cook drawer is a waste - too small to put anything signifcant - and because of the limited space, you're practically putting it right on the element, so we've had issues with items burning to the bottom. The seal for the bottom stove has also come loose. The burners on the stove are super powerful - not good, when youare cooking on 5 (medium) and it's boiling like it's on 10 (high). Definitely do not recommed - for the price we paid, we expected ALOT better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this stove This is an amazing stove. It looks great and works even better. Can't believe all the compliments we get. Oven is fantastic. Gas elements work well except one sometimes takes a couple clicks to light. Love the electronic console and the user friendly programming. Rarely need to consult the owners manual. Highly recommend this product. //

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic What an awesome stove! I absolutely love the look of it. Incredibly chic and everyone tells me how much they love it when they see it. I love the wave touch screen. It's very sleek and adds a real modern touch. I was initially hesitant about going with a gas top but I'm so glad I did. It heats up your pans/pots nice so evenly. It makes the most fantastic crepes and pancakes. Gas stoves do make it take a little longer to boil a pot of water compared to when I used to have a flat-top and a coil stove, however the benefits of gas outweighed the benefit of getting a flattop or gas again. The "perfect turkey" button was great and did indeed make us the perfect turkey this past Thanksgiving. The probe feature is great for making roasts just the way you want them. I've also used the "bread proof" button and I made a great ciabatta bread with it. This stove has many other features that I haven't used yet, like the dehydrating button to make dehydrated fruit etc, and you can program the stove to cook something at different temperatures for different periods of time. There's two timers on this stove which I've found very useful and use all the time. I love the fact that this stove is actually TWO stoves. Instead of storage in the lower drawer it's a fully functioning oven. Perfect for making pies/crisps for desert while at the same time making dinner. Or it can be used as a warming drawer. The sliding racks are fantastic and glides out nicely which makes it so easy to take food out. Everyone seems to say that convection cooks things faster--that is not my experience with this stove. For me everything cooks in the same amount of time that the recipe called for, although the convection feature does make everything cook so evenly. The convection feature is also great for cooking many things at the same time. I can make a full batch of cookies all in one shot and they all cook evenly on each level at the same time. There's a button on this stove to convert the temperature for a normal recipe to the temperature needed for the convection. I didn't find this necessary at all. I used it once and I ended up having to cook it for longer. There's a lot of options on this stove. The stove came with a manual and a Quick Reference guide and thank god because there are a lot of icons /features on this oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It. I have been using this oven range for about a year now and find it amazing. Convection works great, the perfect turkey feature is excellent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy something else We've had this oven since April. On the pro side, the convection feature works well and the range is very good-looking. However, we have had the following problems already: - Front right burner (most powerful one) does not ignite and we have been waiting for the replacement part for over 2 months. - Oven makes a loud buzzing noise sometimes while in use - Stainless stell has permanent streaks of some sort - I've tried everything but they can't be removed. Never had this problem with other stainless appliances. For the money, I would not recommend this range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooks Well Love it. This is the first dual fuel stove that I have ever used. Cooks faster than my electric stove. Very easy to use. Love that the dials are on top of the stove and not in the frount like so many others, keeps little fingers out of reach. The oven part is very nice. Love the sliding racks and the lightinging.

Electrical outage

Is is possible to cook on the gas cook-top if the electricity is not working?
Asked by:
Yes you can. However you would have to light the burner manually with a lighter or a match as the electric light would not work during power outage. One of the reasons we choose a gas stove as well.

Cabinet protection

Do we have to tell our cabinet maker if a piece of sheet metal has to be applied on either side of the stove/oven? (It is hard to tell on the website.) Also would you advise a protective piece of metal or some other matter be put down on the floor beneath the warming drawer if we are having hardwood flooring? Is there a chance the warming drawer could potentially burn the floor?
Asked by: mb924
We have tile and it does get hot underneath. I don' recommend this stove at all though (read my review). Our cabinet maker did not install sheet metal for this stove. It does stick out further than a regular slide in stove.

Appliance concerns

How durable is the stainless steel surface under the gas burners? Does the S.S. surface discolour? How easy is it to clean burnt on foods without leaving a mark? What cleaning products are used to clean S.S. on the top and the front? Do the ballbearing shelves in the oven continue to glide smoothly after lots of use or do they start to stick? Do you grease the ballbearings and with what? Betsey from North of To.
Asked by: Betsey
Hello Betsey, Attached are the cleaning and care instructions for the stainless steel top. The oven racks must be removed for self-cleaning (range will not allow you to go into self-clean with them in). No other care is required for the racks.

The oven only gets to 400 degrees so yes, you could bake a pizza but not at a high temperature.
