It's a shame :(

It stopped working after I used it for 3-4 times.

I took it to Sear's service a month ago and they say that I need to wait another half a month because they don't have needed parts and ordered them from Electrolux.

Since 1 month passed when it stopped working (when I was able to return it) I have to wait now for "mercy"...

Conclusion: Don't buy it...

Cons:Â awful service

EL 7060

I too purchased a el7060 model, which kept shutting off, and the numbers ran in sequence over and over. When it stopped on 0, I could start it again. I got very amazing response from Electolux,. They sent a new vacuum to me, unfortunately, it did the same thing. They are sending an upgrade. I feel this vacuum, perhaps had some bad electrontics for a period. I look forward to getting what I expected on the first purchase. I have owned two electroluxs in the past 45 years, and loved them. I want the same quality. Time will tell.

Pros:Â hate placement of on off switch

Cons:Â electronic issue with two different item

I have tried on 3 separate occasions to have a customer service rep call me back from Electrolux. I have received 2 email responses in this regard but so far no one has contacted me and I am unable to respond to the email ID.

Perhaps you can help me. I have a new ultrasilencer, which keeps shutting down on me. Can you explain what the flashing numbers mean in the display screen? I have read through the instruction booklet and it says the vacuum will shut down when overheated or there is an obstruction. None of this is the case. I will review once I know why I am having this problem.

Pros:Â undecided

Cons:Â don't like the locationof the power on.

What a great vacuum. Lightweight, very powerful and easy to use controls on the handle. I have had an Electrolux since 1980. my second Electrolux has just been replaced by this new one. I love it. Great vacuum and really like the 5 year warranty.

I just bought the Electrolux ultrasilencer deep clean cannister vacuum. It seems to work well. It's powerful on my old shag carpet and very quiet. However, when I turn it off, just after it powers down, it makes a short, strange "whine" would be the best way I have to describe it. Is this sound normal?
