love this stick vacuum!

This vac totally exceeds our expectations. We bought it after we removed our carpets and installed laminate floors. We have 1 cat, 3 dogs and it cleans the hair very well. Right now we are doing renos and my husband is using it to vacuum fine sawdust particles, works great! Filter cleaning hint: I use a can of compressed air to clean the filter, just step outside the back door, take filter out, spray and reassemble. No need to wait for it to dry!

buyer beware!

Based on product description and reviews on this site I thought this small vacuum would be perfect to clean up mere 500 square feet of carpet in my condo - plus it's compact so fits into my tiny laundry room. However, this vacuum has extremely poor suction. It barely removes crumbs (i.e. poprcorn or chip crumb), let alone the tougher things like hair and fluff from clothing. All it does it spread stuff around - barely anything gets removed from the carpets. The only pro is that it fits into small spaces but who cares if it doesn't actually work - now all it's doing it taking up space. I will definitely be trying to get a store credit or exchange.

Simple and efficient

I was looking for a faster way to vacuum several times per week, as we have indoor dogs. This little machine does the trick. It recharges in about 24 hours, and then can run for around 20 minutes, which is enough time to go through all the main areas of the house. I have to empty the chamber 2-3 times. It is easy to clean. I find I am not ever using my large vacuum, which cost 5 times as much, and is a bear to lug around. For a small portable vacuum, I don't think this can be beat!

Don't buy it

This is a glorified dustbuster. Once you've vacuumed, the stuff falls back out. You have to wash the filter every time you use it. The battery has a short life and you have to discharge it completely before charging. The battery does not come out for re-charging - you have to leave it out to plug it into the poorly designed stand at least overnight. If you buy it you will regret it very quickly - I guarantee it.

Cons:Â Not well constructed, doesn't work dirt falls out

A VERY Handy light weight Quick Cleanup tool.

I just love my lnew light weight vacuum.Ihave a central Vacuum but every time I had to clean up,I had to drag out the hose.Now I just unplug this handy,cordless,bagless Electrolux Ergorapid0 Ultra +.This vacuum also can become a hand held unit for a quick cleanup.I find it very useful for stairs etc.This handy machine doesn't totally replace you main Vacuum,but sure makes life simpler for everyday cleanups.

No, there are no attachments, and it's very light. This vacuum is useless for anything though - I bought one, thought it was great until I used it a couple of times. You have to wash the filter every time, the dirt falls out, it has no suction, poor battery life, battery does not remove for the very long charging period so you have to leave it out by an outlet, plugged into it's poorly designed stand. Don't buy it.

It charges on an upright stand; takes about 8 hours or so (I just leave it on overnight - almost 24 hours). No other attachments except the handheld vacuum.

This is an awesome Vaccum for quick clean ups, works great on our hardwood floors. It charges on the stand and there are 2 or 3 additional attachments for the handheld dustbuster which are stored in the stand as well. The dustbuster is removeable for handheld use and the suction is very good as a handheld and as the upright stick vaccum. We love this and use it nightly after dinner for clean up.

Carpeted stairs

I have berber carpet & I find it works well. My whole home is carpeted & I use this as my 'in-between' vacuum. I have a Dyson for weekly vacuuming, but we have a bird and a dog so we always have seed & fluff on the floor!

For stairs, you might find the attached hand vac is even better than the stick vac - it has a small crevice tool so you'd be able to get right into the edges.
