What a differenceWe had a Kenmore vacuum for about 6 years. We felt it wasn't doing that great of a job, especially after getting it tuned up from Sears. We decided to try the Dyson. What a difference, yes you do have to work it thru the carpet to get the cat hair but it was removing so much more than our old vacuum. Our son showed the biggest change, we found out last year he is allergic to cats and would always cough. When we picked up the Dyson he hasn't coughed since. It vacuums that much deeper.

Never again.....I will never own another dyson. Hardly picks up pet hair from my carpet, the opening from the hose to the canister is so small it plugs constantly.

AMAZING!!!This vacuum is amazing!!! I have all hardwood and porcelain floors with the occasional area rug and the different heads for each worked wonderfully.I only had to plug in once for each floor and it reached everywhere ( approx. 1000 sq.ft per floor). It manoeuvres very easily behind you as you go. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product. Worth every penny.

A delight for the housework challenged!I finally bought this Dyson after dreaming about it for a long time.It is easy, light and does a very good job of picking up hair from our 3 cats and our 3 dogs.We live on a farm so lots of dirt from going in and out,no problem there. We also burn with wood so sawdust tracts up from basement, a breeze to pick up with the Dyson.Had it for 2 months with grandchildren coming and going, surprise, they like using it also.Even my tennis elbow loves it.Very easy on the arms and back. For a person who hates housework the Dyson sure has my floors clean.I really like the soft floor brush that comes with it as it gets the dirt from all the cracks. Very happy with my Dyson and would recommend it.

Buy a central vac for the priceI was not impressed from the start with this vacuum. It would not suck up the cat hair on the carpet without multiple passes over it. And Also wouldn't pick up a Cheerio without lifting the vacuum head and placing it over the Cheerio itself. It also had poor suction if you didn't empty the canister after every single use. Not worth my time or effort for the price. Bought a central vac for $50 more and it does not disappoint.

Seems to be a great vaccuum...haven't used it very long yet but it is very light weight and easy to use. The suction seems very good as well and nice that you don't have to use bags.
there r so many types i am wondering about the difference between the animal turbine and the other dyson vacumms

Dyson® DC37 Turbinehead Animal Canister Vacuum
Is this bagless vacuum?
Asked by: Sheng
Yes, James Dyson invented the first cyclonic (bagless) vacuums. All of our Dyson vacuums are bagless so there is no loss of suction and no extra costs.

Yes it comes with a soft hard floor brush plus the turbinehead can be used for bare floors too by pressing a button on top of hose handle to stop the bristles from turning .It has a crevice tool, dusting tool, little turbinehead brush, great for taking pet hair off couches and fabric chairs.I don't know what the straight little one is called but I use it on chairs, and stairs also.

What vacuum would you recommend to me. I have two small kids and a lightly shedding dog. Mostly tile and laminate throughout with 3 carpeted bedrooms and area rugs. Also have tile stairs going up and down that need frequent vacuuming. I want a dyson that can clean under beds and couches etc. PLEASE HELP :)

Just bought a Dyson D3 37 turbinehead animal a few months ago.I have 3 cats,3 dogs and numerous grandchildren visiting from time to time.We live on a farm, burn with wood and this vacuum does a great job.We have rugs in some rooms and bare floors in others like you. I go from rugs to bare floor by pressing a button on top of the hose handle. If I want to do a bare floor that has fine dust or cracks I use the soft floor brush that comes with it.The small turbinehead attachment is super to clean couches, chairs and stairs. It has more tools that come with it that are very useful.I like it very much.Hope this helps.
I'm considering buying a Dyson and have read all the reviews for the DC37. All have been very helpful however one gentleman says that this is his third Dyson and he loves it. I'm wondering what the length of life is for one of these vacuums?
Asked by: cardan
The Dyson® DC37 Turbinehead Animal Canister Vacuum can last a very long time under normal use and if it is well maintained. There is a 5 year warranty on this dyson.
Thank you for choosing Sears.
