Double bed configuration

I want to order this bedframe for use with a double size mattress. One of the problems I have with my current bedframe is that the set up for the double size requires the cross piece to be intalled at an angle, which prevents me from using those under-bed storage containers properly (they end up following the cross piece instead of going straight). Is the set up for this bed frame the same?

The twin/double frame does not have the centre support rail according to the manufacturer so you should not encounter this issue. However I need to caution you that many manufacturers require the centre rail on double size and larger for warranty so you may want to check into that first, I would hate to see you nullify your warranty.

Good day,
the model #58520 can do double size but you need to verify wich kind of attach you need. On this bedframe you have 2 flanges at headboard where you can bolt a headbord. You don't have any flange at footboard.
