Unnecessarily Complicated

Although the clock looks cool and my son loves it â it has many flaws. I donât like how it runs on batteries and doesnât come with an AC cord. It would have been nice to have the option â especially if someone actually wanted to actually use the radio feature. Speaking of the radio feature â I canât stand how it resets to 88.0FM every time the radio is turned on. Which means every time I turn on the radio â I need to search through static to find a station â it doesnât remember the last station it was set to. There is no back light to the clock part. Most bedroom clocks are looked at â first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Although it does shine the time up on the ceiling when itâs dark â in low light situations across the room â itâs kind of useless. I find the clock to be ridiculously loud. There is an hourly chime option â itâs so loud itâs frightening. Lastly, the thing I hate the most about the clock is that is unnecessarily complicated to use. There are no on/off switches â everything is a series of button combinations using 5 yellow buttons. Holding x-many at once and pressing another â donât ever lose the instructions! This proved to be ultra frustrating when my son pressed a bunch of buttons and set the alarm for 1:00am. When the loud car sounds scared him awake and had me runningâ¦I thought I turned it off â only to realize I hit the snooze button as it started blaring again at 1:05am. I eventually found the instructions and shut it off. I wonât be returning the item because my son loves it â but as a parent â Iâd never recommend this item.

Cons:Â difficult to use, Loud, poorly lit clock, poorly designed radio
