The DimplexÂ® 'Warren' Convertible Fireplace has a mantelpiece that attaches to fit against a straight wall or to become a corner unit. The dimensions of this fireplace are 36 3/4" w. x 12 1/2" d. x 36 3/16" h. With the corner attachment in place, this fireplace is 26" along the wall, from the front to the corner of the wall.

Corner Unit

We have just received a Warren convertible fireplace and we wanted to put it in the corner. However there is a gap ( approx. 1 1/2 inches)- large enough between the unit and the wall that you can see the light from the back of the firebox shining on both sides on the wall. Is this unit supposed to fight tight against the wall?

This unit fits in a corner and should not have any gaps. However sometime there may be a corner where the walls are not square and that would cause a gap. Our suggestion would be for you to buy very simple quarter round molding and paint it the colour of the wall and miter it to fit so that there would not be a gap
