Very disappointed

I bought this also to replace my Braun which I had for years. This was the same amount of watts so I assumed it would work as well. It was extremely weak. Took about 10 mins to do a job I could have done in about 10 seconds with my Braun. Missing my old one. Returned this after using it 2 times and had completely lost patience.

I bought this immersion blender because of the majority of good reviews, and because the brand name is realated to quality products. When I got it home, the first thing I did was make mayonnaise with it, or tried to. I hadn't added all the oil, I noticed that it didn't appear to be blending. It was only about 2 seconds into blending. I checked to see if it was hooked up properly, and it was so I tried it again. I then smelled somethin burning. I unplugged it, removed the blender attatchment to have little plastic particles sprinkel out on my counter. I returned the blender and bought another pricier brand.
Again, I was disappointed with this brand and don't know that I would recommend this particular product.

Cons:Â Not well constructed

Great Value!

I bought this mixer to replace a Braun - I thought the Braun was good, but this is better. Easy to change components, easy to clean - and POWERFUL!! Definitely worth buying.

I use the hand blender to blend soups and making mayonaise. Blending is quick and easy. I think much better than a regular blender and way less mess.

I love that it the blender comes off the motor area for easy clean up. Also that the entire mechanism is metal is wonderful. I've had a couple of hand blenders and the plastic ones tend to splinter at the bottom and the plastic is left in the food!

I've used the whisk attachment to make icing and beating egg whites and it works well also.

I've chopped smaller amounts of onions with the mini-prep - it's good for small amounts (1/2 an onion). It does not replace a food processor if you chop larger amounts etc.

Overall I believe that it's great value for the money. I consider it an essential kitchen tool.

Pros:Â Comfortable, Stylish, Easy to clean, Well constructed, great value

Most Used Kitchen Gadget In My Home

I use this handblender so often in my home! I especially love the mini food processor it comes with, it makes dicing vegetables for soups/stews/chilli super quick and easy.

Hello,

This hand Blender has its own chopper/grinder attachment, and enough power to chop nuts, grind hard cheeses, and whip up voluminous meringues and creamy toppings in seconds.

Since it can chop nuts, then it should be able to grind spices as well.
