Not waht I Hoped

Bought this item yeasterday i was so excited i was hoping to get rid of another apliance and get more use of my Griddler, that we love. But these plates are no replacement for our cuisinart waffle maker. The waffles are not as crispand because depth of dimples in the waffle plates is to shallow. I have been waiting a long time for these to come out but unfortunately they were not what i hoped that they would be. Also the temperature on the top and bottom of the machine is not the same so they cook really unevenly. The only good thing that i found was clean up, pop off the plates and and give them a scrub. Nice try cuisinart but not quite there. I will be returning this item today.

Cons:Â uneven cooking

After market waffle griller plates

Do not fit correctly. The original plates fit snug and hold perfectly. These do not. They are not marked top or bottom. The top fell off twice during a very short use. They are also very light and not the heavy quality of the original plates. They cost as much as a waffle maker too.I bought them hoping to eliminate another appliance, but can't really use these as I see them as dangerous to be around kids. Would not buy again. Usually this brand is mid-price good. Not this time.

The waffle plates were easy to install and wash. The non-stick works very well and we all enjoyed our waffles, the cook as well.

Cuisinart Griddler Waffle Plates

These work well, cook waffes excellently and are easy to clean compared to a regular waffle iron which are notoriously hard to clean. The Ciusinart waffle plates come right off for washing in the sink or dishwasher.
