We had this product for 2 months and it will not open cans properly. Once you push the handle down and engage the blade it will not turn the can. It stutters and stops and then you get out the hand can opener. Put it in the garbage, poor product with a name like cuisinart.

Cons:Â does not work

This is a great little can opener, easy to use, holds up well to kids using it and it looks great sitting on the counter.

Cuisinart Deluxe Stainless Steel Can Opener

I have arthritis in my thumb and now find it impossible to use a manual can opener. I had another brand of electric can opener and was having difficulty using it also. I decided to get the Cuisinart Can Opener and it works wonderfully. It is well built and has some weight to it so it doesn't tip over when opening cans. It opens cans cleanly and I can use the side of my hand to push the lever down. It is quieter than other electric can openers I have had.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Well constructed, Comfortable, Stylish
