Needs improvement

This was a replacement for my old crock pot (which was still going but just too small for our family of 7). I liked the idea of being able to program it and that it has a keep warm feature. Well, after using this - I find I am still pulling out my old crock pot. First - it cooks way hotter on low - I would say that this new pot's Low is like my old pot's High - so you can have some seriously overdone food if you're not home to check on it. The meat thermometer part does not work at all - just a gimmick. The instruction booklet is bound backwards. And it is difficult to program. It has nice ideas but needs some tweaking - until then, I'll continue to use my old crock pot.

Hello rolexloretta,

No, you cannot program a start time. It is actually not safe to delay start since youâre often dealing with raw meat in a slow cooker. You can, however set a cooking time and the slow cooker will automatically switch to keep warm once the cooking time is up, therefore not overcooking your meal.
