Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised Easy install which took around 1 1/2hr following the step by step instructions, fit perfectly on my Craftsman LT.winch works well, I wasn't sure how it was going to perform, but it will easily push 10-12" of powder. tire chains are a must though. I don't have weights on my tractor yet, but i do get stuck when reversing sometimes, so i plan on getting some. when going forward it is amazing what my little tractor can push. the only gripe I have, is that the blade only lifts around 12" off the ground, so it's tough to pile snow well. Also, another bonus, is that once the blade is installed, it only takes about 30 seconds to take it on and off, it clicks into the mounting bracket, which stays on the tractor. the winch also stays on the tractor. from what i can tell, the mounting bracket will work with the snowblower attachment as well, so there is no need to buy 2 different lift systems if you happen to own both attachments.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More Trouble Than It's Worth Two years ago I upgraded to this blade from a 42 inch Craftsman blade. I immediately experienced problems with a trip switch on the lift assembly that I had to disable to allow the winch to work. Also each year the push frame bracket that attaches the blade to the lift assembly broke under normal usage conditions. The bracket is under-designed and is very frustrating to replace. Before installing my third bracket I had a welder reinforce the breakpoints so hopefully this one will last longer. My biggest complaint however is the blade left/right tilt which only allows for a 20 degree angle of the blade. If there is over 2 inches of snow a lot of snow will be deposited out the uppers edge of the blade meaning you have to shovel the area two or more times to clear the snow. My previous smaller Craftsman blade had a greater angle, and I've found 3 competing blades with angles of 25, 30 and 30 degrees respectively. Bottom line is that for as much as I like the Craftsman products I recommend to stay away from this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow Blade Very good unit, but had to buy the side kit from Bercomac because Sears does not carry what they advertise in the catalogue. If you have and older tractor check out Bercomac who actually made this. Very easy to use and put on the tractor.
