Steering problem when blowing snow

Hi
I have a 26 hp craftsman lawn tractor .
I have used it just once and I find it very difficut to steer when I'm using my snow blower.
I have installed chains on my rear wheels and I also have the weight kit installed.
What should I do to correct this steering problem?

Great Traction

These chains are easy to install and give great traction on a slippery grass slope. I will update my opinion of them when I use them with my snow blower attached

Snow Chains

These chains fit perfect first time no problems at all. The difference in the tractor pushing snow is unbelievable, night and day, did not know exactly how much pushing power my tractor had until these chains. Well worth the money so far and have not needed the additional wheel weights and have been pushing 6 inch deep snow with drifts up to 10 inches. Only complaint is with Sear's delivery times almost 3 weeks from time of order this needs looking at.

Great chains, great price

I've been using these chains for about six months now and they've been great. I have a Craftsman II lawn tractor that I've taken the deck off of to use in the woods to pull a firewood trailer. The chains were easy to install and I have abused them as much as I can my tractor, which is quite a bit. They've taken many good spins on mud and boulders, and haven't shown any signs of slackening or wear yet. These truly are worth as much as the chains (made for ATVs and small tractors) that I priced at three to four times as much.

Tire Chains

Tire Chains fit good, easy to install. Plenty of traction, I aslo have the weights on.
Remove the Tire to Install the Chain. Chains must be centered evenly to avoid hitting the weight mounting bracket bolts.

Pros:Â Good quality, Compatible, they work

I think you meant to say 18x8.5x8

I have this same back tire. Model of tractor is 944.607021 which I cannot find any online information on. I do not even know what year it is as it was left at the acreage we are at. I bought the smallest tire chain size available (just ordered it) It is a little bit bigger but I hope and can tighten it up a bit.
