Things you should know before you buy this tool

First off, I must say that this tool does a great job at what it was designed to do. I really like it.

Just a few comments though:

Contrary to a question and answer about this tool, it does come with more than a blade. Included in the package were these attachments: scraper blade, sanding pad, circular type saw blade and a brass wire brush.

When using the tool you will probably want to wear ear protection, anti-vibration gloves and a dust mask.

As soon as you get the tool take the bolt that holds the attachments on to the hardware store and get a spare bolt. The bolt that comes with the tool has a soft head and the supplied allen wretch is of soft metal. You have to tighten the bolt quite hard or the vibration will loosen the bolt. I stripped the bolt and allen wrench quite easily. Luckily I had a similar bolt in my box of spare parts.

Also you may want to order a spare battery if you have any amount of cutting to do. Mine dies after about 20 minutes of use.

Also note that recharging might seem slow - this is because the charger waits for the battery to drop below a certain temperature before it begins to charge. Pop the battery in the freezer before charging :)
