It doesn't take much room if you don't have a workshop. You can hang it when not using it, which works out for me. It's very simple to setup and sit the mitre saw on it and start using it.

Handy well built stand. Have one for my sliding makita compound mitr saw. The stand is solid but flexes just enough to accomodate my uneven floor. I leave the saw mounted and store it on end, stands by itself even with the saw on it. Going to buy another for my freud router table that I currently mount on my black and decker workmate.

Pros:Â Durable, Effective, Good design, Sturdy

Cons:Â needs a handle
