Exactly what I needed

I am a hobbyist who was looking for a decent saw to handle small to medium sized jobs with the potential to handle minor to medium home renovations. This saw is ideal. Everything I was looking for and more.
It has a sturdy base, with wheels so it is fairly portable within the garage. Plus, the saw can detatch from the legs to provide more maneuverability. The extended supports will handle a 4'x8' sheet
I researched other 'portable' saws such as Ridgid and Dewalt and this saw was the better of the lot and for a much better price. The fence was more stable, square and rigid than either the Dewalt or Ridgid saws and certainly better quality than Mastercraft.
Easy to set up. Had it running within an 90min of purchase. I would have preferred aluminum base, as opposed to the plastic, but so far no concerns about stability or robustness.
An earlier review mentioned a concern about Dado blade housing but about every saw I've encountered had to have a custom support cut for a Dado blade.

Table saw is excellent . Hes enough power to do what I want it to do and a plus is all the tools are right on board which means I don't have to go looking for anything .

Down fall is the bag under neath does not fit can't get it attached and it's a hard go getting the safety guard in stalled.

Other than that it's a very good saw for the hobbiest

Good saw for home use.

Good saw for home use, moves around easily. I assembled this saw and it was about a 6/10 for difficulty, some of the instructions could have better pictures. Only real stumbling block assembling it was the extensions, to insert them I had to work one side in first for alignment then take it back out and do the same to the other side.
First cut was flawless even flipping a long board around and cutting from both ends (meeting in the middle to complete it).
Good value.

Just got the saw and opened the box to find the main saw body is made of plastic and was broke already. Plastic is not what a person wants in a saw.

Craftsman First Edition 10" Table Saw.

After buying The saw I find out you can't buy a table insert to use your daddo blades.
Other than that it is not a bad saw.
I guess I will have to buy a standard insert and butcher it up to make my own insert.

No, there is only one wheel. There is no wheel in the back, contrary to what the Sears associate has responded here.

The wheel at the front adjusts both the height and the angle of the blade. The height is adjusted by simply turning the wheel, the angle is adjusted by pushing the same wheel in and turning at the same time.

Blade won't turn

The impeller (fan) in the motor is melting from the heat and eventually will become a twisted molten plastic gob that looks like black twisted rope. It will bind the armature causing the overload breaker to react. If it is within warranty have it serviced. If it is past the warranty period and you wish to keep the product, your only option is to buy the entire motor $199.95 plus shipping and taxes.

Yes. The riving blade is attached to the blade housing. The riving blade can be adjusted reletive to the blade as well. So the riving blade can have an 1/8" clearance of the blade or 1/2" clearance of the blade but either way will raise and lower with the blade.

Our buyers have indicated that all our models will accept a dado blade and will do dado cuts, but the user must use a dado insert to protect himself from injury. Users should not use a dado blade larger than 6" with a maximum width of 1/2", and the dado blade should be stacked, no adjustable or wobble dados.
