Craftsman 3/4 HP Electric Garage Door Opener / Cha

I've had a 3/4 HP Craftsman Garage Door Opener Since we bought our house new in 2006. The house is only almost 4 years old. Beautiful! Getting off topic; sorry. The door opener has worked great since we had it installed by a Sears tech almost 4 years ago . There has been the odd hiccup now and then, like the wall control unit going bad. That, you cannot claim is caused by the opener.You can get that in any electronic hardware. No big deal. I gave them a call and they were here to fix it in a couple of days. It has worked really well since then. If any of you guys reading this review have a garage door opener and you find your exterior power unit is not working the way it should, there is a little plate held on with a screw and behind that plate, you will find a 9-volt battery. A good way to check. If the number keypad does not light up the numbers very well, then that is probably your problem. For the gentleman wondering if Sears stands behind their products. Yes they do 100%. I have owned and still do a lot of Sears tools and hardware and to this day, I cannot claim to be dissatisfied with the quality of the item, whichever it may be, or the quality of the service. They have a very good warranty as well. Enjoy! Keep smiling!!

Craftsman 3/4 chain driven garage door opener

Easy to install and easy to program. After we worked out the kinks in the programming it works like a charm. Always have bought Craftsman products before and have been satisfied with the performance. Haven't had to use customer service yet so do not know how they stand behind the product, but I never want to have to use them. Sears always has stood behind the products they sell so I do not fear buying anything there.
