Hello,
These are difficult questions to answer because there are so many variables that effect the snowblowers performance.
It features a 10" height intake so it is designed to handle snow up to 10" deep.
How it handles wet and how far it throws depends on how much snow there is and the type of snow.
The vendor has indicated that this type of snowblower is great for areas of lighter snowfalls, walkways, or decks where clearing right down to the bare surface is essential. They ARE NOT suited for gravel driveways
