I would like to know what the maximum effective cutting slope is for this or any Lawn Tractor. I have varying grades/slopes on my lawn and I don't want to buy a Lawn tractor to find I can't use it on half my lawn.

Hello Steves1102,

Please be advised that as per the manual for this tractor, slopes are a major factor related to loss of control and tip-over accidents which can result in severe injury or death. All slopes require extra caution. If you cannot back up the slope or if you feel uneasy on it, do not mow it.

For your safety, use the Slope Guide as found in the user's manual to measure slopes before operating this machine on a sloped or hilly area. If the slope is greater than 15 degrees as shown on the Slope Guide, do not operate this machine on that area or serious injury could result.

Rear Bagger on Craftsman MD 17.5

Just purchased the Craftsman MD 17.5HP tractor (model # C459.60133) as well as the 42 Inch Mower Grass Catcher (model # 944.616421). The tractor manual does not mention a rear bagger or any accessories. The Catcher manual says to 'Simply hang the support assembly on the shoulder bolts' My tractor does not seem to have 'shoulder bolts'. The bolts supplied with the catcher do fit the four holes on the rear of the tractor, but are not even close to lining up with the support assembly. Am I missing a part or adaptor or something?
