Fabulous Sunscreen

Love, love Clinique's City Block Sheer SPF 25 face protector. I am 45 years old with tempermental skin, oily acne prone and very, very sensitive eyes. Up until this product I have not been able to use any sunscreen, especially chemical block on my face or anywhere near my eyes. This products acts like a foundation/primer/sunblock in a single swoosh! The best product out there. I hope Clinique never stops making this product. Way to go Clinique!!!!!

Best I've found for sensitive skin

Due to an underlying medical condition, I developed a mild case of rosacea. Chemical sunscreens not only stung my eyes (even before the rosacea I hated them for that) but they irritated my skin and made my skin feel weird - mostly the skin on my face, the rest of me seems okay with the chemical sunscreens. I tried a titanium dioxide and zinc oxide sunscreen with a high spf (for children) and it left my skin very pasty-looking, so I had to spend a lot of time rubbing it in and add some foundation. But I knew I had found what worked for my skin because it wasn't in the least bit irritated and the scent of the sunscreen didn't bother me like the chemical ones did. Then I came across the CliniqueÂ® City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 25 - which already has a tint to it. I fell in love from the very first application and I am now a devoted user. It has a high enough spf for my needs (I have to avoid sun exposure as much as possible) so the opacity isn't noticeable and the tint makes it just perfect for a slap-on-and-go application when make-up is not required. As I am light-to-medium skinned, I don't know how this would be on darker-skinned ladies, so definitely try before you buy. You can always put your regular foundation on top. There is no detectable fragrance and application is pleasant... I actually love applying this sunscreen, it just makes my skin look better and I know it's protecting me. I also have quite an oily t-zone and this doesn't feel heavy or oily on my skin. I am soooo happy I came across this sunscreen and would highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin or who doesn't want to have their eyes stinging if your sunscreen runs in your eyes by accident. Love love love it!!!! I hope Clinique never stops making this. Ever! :)
