I had liked the set when looking online for a new dining set(for months since moving to a new house), and I had even checked the model on display in a Sears store to ensure colour would work.
I made the purchase--but the colour of the delivered product was totally off from what I had seen in person. It is listed as warm pecan but it is actually a dark almost cherry colour (the box says OAK?)
In the end I decided to keep it (I was told there is no choice of warm pecan and the colour recd is only option available) Not sure why the colour online is still described as "warm pecan." Anyhow the glass insert makes it much lighter in appearance so the dark wood is fine and actually goes fine with my existing furniture. I only purchased the table but may consider a new sideboard and chairs but with my luck they will be delivered in warm pecan and not match the table. The table is quite elegant and a nice size for my townhouse dining room yet still casual enough in feel for my family.
