This machine is very easy to assemble even though there are many parts. Instructions are easy to follow and I had it together in a little over an hour. Very easy to use and comfortable. Does every exercise I need to do and in the few short weeks I've had it, I've already noticed a huge change in my muscle tone and size. I use it for 2 hours every 2nd day and it is very sturdy and well made. It won't wear out like the old Weider Crossbow machine I had. Very very pleased. And it arrived in a few days, just when Sears told me it would.

Love this machine!!

My husband had been bugging me for a bowflex for sooo long. Finally I broke down and started to look for one within our price range. Saw this one on sears.ca and was sold immediately. I compared it to the other bowflex machines, especially the ones sold on bowflex.ca and this was the one. It does more exercises than the base model from bowflex.ca and can be upgraded for more weight-either 310lbs or 410lbs where as the base model on bowflex.ca cannot be upgraded. It has many peices so if your not very excited about putting things together, it may scare you when you first open box. However, the instructions ares very clear and easy to understand. My husband put his together in a few hours, took his time to ensure he did it correctly the first time. We absolutely love this machine, well worth every penny spent! Also love the fact that it stores up and its compact, this way the kids cannot play on it. LOVE THIS MACHINE!!

Suits this "old guy"

I am now in my 60âs and needed to keep up my fitness but unwilling to commit to a gym where I am somewhat out of place from the buffed younger generation. The Blaze has been terrific in providing easy at-home exercise that can be easily paced yet with terrific results. I coupled it with an elliptical trainer so that I can work on my cardio with 15 minutes on the elliptical and then another 15 minutes with the Bowflex for strength training. Unlike my other attempts at fitness, I am sticking to a daily workout with the convenience of it being home-based without the need for a long time commitment.

Pros:Â Easy to use, Sturdy, Good quality

I am very happy with the Bowflex Blaze. I find it hard to get to the gym everyday but with this I can make the time whenever I want. It does all that I was hoping for.

Pros:Â Easy to use, Easy to assemble, great instruction manual

Cons:Â too tall for the place in the basement

We found the Bowflex Blaze instruction booklet easy to follow and fairly quick to assemble (about 2 hours). We were pleased with the quality of the product and the fact that everything fit together the way it should. We love it! Easy to assemble, easy to use.

It is fairly tall, so if you were going to use this in a basement check the height of you ceiling first.

The package size is very big and very heavy and unlikely to fit in a car. I was able to pick mine up at a Sears store in my mid-sized SUV accompanied by my muscular adult son. However, when we arrived home, we unloaded the parts out of the box while still in the SUV and then the parts were easily carried to the basement in several trips.

Sort of. Its my only pet peev. When you use a different part of the machine then yes you have to disconnect and reconnect the cables for each part. That being said, there are several excersises for each part, so it depends on what you are working out too.

Hello,

The Bowflex Blaze does require you to change the cables in between most exercises yes. However, the Bowflex PR3000 does have a no-change pulley system that allows you to go from one exercise to another without much in the way of cable set up. Both gyms do allow for a total body workout regardless.
