Pilot light?

RE: Bosch® 300 Series Gas Freestanding Range I understand that the burners on this stove top use an electronic ignition. Am I correct that these can be lit manually during a power outage? Also, does the oven have a pilot light or only electronic ignition? If there is no pilot light, then, if I am correct the oven on this stove can NOT be used during a power outage. Any clarification on this would be most helpful. Thank you!
Asked by: WinterSky
The burners ARE electronic ignition, but CAN be used in the event of a power outage. Here is an excerpt from the users manual: "In the event of an electrical power outage, the surface burners can be lit manually. To light a surface burner, hold a lit match to the burner head, then slowly turn the surface control knob to LITE. After burner lights push in and turn knob to desired setting. Use caution when lighting surface burners manually." The oven is electronically controlled and uses electronic ignition, and as such cannot be used during a power outage.
