Fabulous!Got it a week ago, after I did the minor put together, I tried it. It picked up far more than my old vacuum did in my whole apartment and that was only the living room. I am truly impressed. It is a little on the heavy side, but I can live with that. I would certainly recommend it to anyone as an alternative to the Dysan.

Does it have good suction on tiles and hardwood floors?

BISSELL PowerGlide upright vacuum is a fully featured exceptional vacuum with full suction power as an upright vacuum and full suction power as a LiftOff go anywhere canister tank vacuum.
The advantage of this as an upright vacuum is that it has a brush on / off switch for hard floor surfaces so the full suction power is working for you on tiles and hardwood without scratching and turn brush on to lift carpet pile while vacuuming.
