Thank you for your inquiry. The BIG Green Machine weighs approximately 40 lbs but the design and use of the machine is very light and easy to use. The large wheels makes it easy to move around while cleaning the carpet. There are 2 tanks, 1 to fill with hot water and BISSELL cleaning formula and the other tank captures the dirty water. Both tanks lift out and are easy to fill and empty and hold approximately 2 gallons. Here is a step by step how to use:
Step 1:
Fill the machineâs clean water tank with two capfuls of BISSELL cleaning formula and hot tap water.
Step 2:
Place tank back onto the machine. Plug machine into an outlet and turn on.
Step 3:
While pressing the trigger, slowly make one wet forward and backward pass with the machine. Release the trigger and make one dry forward and backward pass. Repeat passes until solution being pulled up appears clean. Continue this process around your room until entire room has been cleaned. Depending on the size of your room, the clean water tank may need to be refilled, and the dirty water emptied during the cleaning process.
Step 4:
When you have finished cleaning, both tanks should be emptied of any water and rinsed.
