Very Sturdy Bed

Very easy to put together and makes for a very sturdy bed. I had doubts about how strong a crib could be, but my two boys jump on it all the time without a wiggle or squeak from the bed. A much better option than buying traditional bed frame to use. *Makes the bed fairly high, my son can barely get on it. May want to get a step stool, too, for the little ones!*

Hello,

As per our Buyer, the Sydney bed rail kit will not work with the Tuscanny. There is no matching wood bed rail kit for the Tuscanny. You can convert to a double bed by purchasing any double, double ended metal bed rail kit to which the sides of the crib are attached.

Simplicity Ellis??

Hi my inlaws purchased our crib as a gift about 3 yours ago and I believe it was the Simplicity Ellis in Expresso but it looks exactly like this crib. The board the crib mattress lays on has the instructions on it and does say "Bily" with model #B8673BC and the date 2008/09/25. We are looking to convert it to the bed and I was wondering if these would fit??? are they the same?? do you have a bed rail for the Ellis?? did you sell these at one point or am I mistaken in thinking I have the Ellis?? Thanks for any help you can give me!!

The crib I have was called the "Ellis" at the time of purchase. It will fit. There are about 6 different model numbers it will work on.

I purchased the Sydney crib last year in Honey Oak & I'm now in need of the bed rails that I didn't purchase at the same time unfortunately. I can only find the bed rails in white, cherry, and black. Is the honey oak colour still available anywhere?

No, this conversion kit is meant for the Bilyâ¢ 'Sydney' Crib only. Please note that a special conversion kit is not required to change a convertible crib into a day bed or a double bed. For the double bed format, a standard double bed frame and mattress are required.

It says on the website that it's available in 3 solid wood finishes. But there's no cotton white. Is it something discontinued? I purchased the crib in cotton white and I need the bed rails. We have just tried to convert our Simplicity Ellis Crib (which I found out is recalledbut we no longer want the crib part anyway, just the adult bed) and the rails that we thought should fit (as our son's Sorelle Tuscany Crib is identical) do not work. I saw that some others have looked at using these Billy Rails and the fixing you describe in one of your answers sounds right - I have taken a picture of the fixings that came with our Ellis crib - are these the same?
