Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product I purchased this item for my 10 month old baby girl. It is sooo easy to set in place! The door locks properly and won't be easily opened be a baby (double locking). It is however very quickly unlocked by parents. I also like that I can lock the panels to whatever position I like. While purchasing, I was afraid the playyard would look like a 'prison', but it does not. Baby is simply happy playing in it and I can take so time to work in the house knowing baby is at a safe place. Nothing replaces mothers' arms, but for short times, mothers arms can rest with this playyard. The only negative thing about this playyard is its price. It is very expensive for an item that every parent should have access to. In my case, I am considering buying the 2 panels extension, because it would give more room for my tiny beast to crawl and explore. This is an additional $70 plus tax. The price makes me lower the rating from 5 to 4.

Additional space

If one purchases 2 or more of these, is it possible to attach them together to form a larger play space?
Asked by: Jai1
Hello Jai1, It is possible to attach two or more, but we do not advise using 2 together as there may not be enough support. Thanks for shopping Sears.

Missing parts

We received this indoor play yard as a gift and when assembling it we have found we are missing the socket cap to enable us to attach it to the wall. Is there anyway to get a replacement piece? (note: Unfortunately we do not have a receipt for it.)

Stainable?

Is this baby gate stainable to match our cabinets?
Asked by:
The Superyard is varnished so it would be a lot of work to sand it down to be able to do your own finish. If you did sand it down, you would need to make sure you are using totally non-toxic stain/paint since the child could chew on it

blanket?

Hi, What does one put at the bottom of this wooden superyard? Since it is to be used indoors and we only have hardwood, what's my best option for covering the floor? Thanks
Asked by: dee74
There is nothing that we offer, but I could suggest a blanket or playmat.

How much does it weigh? What are its dimensions when dissambled?

We live outside Canada and want to ask a relative to bring the play yard with him. We need to know how much it weights and what are the dimensions of the package? Can we prepay and get it delivered in Vancouver? Also, can we combine 2 of them for larger space?
Asked by: Galia
I have this play yard. Personally, I find that the 6 panels alone do not provide a large enough space for a baby to play and explore when baby toys and all are there. I do not see any problem at all to have two play yards assembled together to form a large play yard. You can lock the panels so that they will not move at all should the baby lean on them. However, be aware that it would be a very large play yard that would require a lot of space. I have a very large family room and I chose instead to buy the 2 panels extension.
