Had to order pool liner 2 times!

Pool is very cheaply made! I would never buy this again!
The liner came with holes and the second liner came with 3 holes...Sears was great but the product is a bad choice!
Spend a little extra and get a good pool!

Great pool for summer fun!

I recently purchased this lovely pool and we are VERY happy with it. It is perfect for our small backyard and the children are loving it! (ages 9 and 7)

My only problem with this pool is the water pump. The pool holds 2000 galons of water and the pump only circulate 330 galons per hour...I am looking to upgrade the pump or open to any other suggestion!

Pros:Â Easy to use, Sturdy, Comfortable, neat looking!

Good pool for limited space but specs not correct.

This pool fitted our smallish backyard perfectly without overwhelming it. We recently had a large gathering and the kids and adults all enjoyed it very much. It is perfect for just cooling off or relaxing on one of the air mattresses included. Construction is sturdy and kit comes compactly packed. Installation was easy with one person, but I would recommend two people for the final fitting. The included filter pump is measly and not suitable for a salt water chlorination system if you decide to go that route as I did but it did work and if you were using chemicals, it would probably be fine. There were no leaks and the pool took 6 hours to fill with our backyard hose. Sears delivery was bright and early on the day I requested and the pool was up and being filled by noon. Installation was quick but of course a lot of unpacking and box crushing so I can't really say how long the actual install was but I would guess 1 person could complete it in an hour if it wasn't their first time. It was about 3 1/2 hours including watching the dvd (do it!), reading instructions along the way (do it!), unpacking and cleanup.

One note of dissatisfaction: I based this purchase on the advertised water depth of 1m however that is incorrect. The walls of the pool aren't even 1m. The actual water level is 32", or 81.3 cm which is significantly less than advertised and I was quite disappointed at first. After living with the pool for a while however, the 32" depth is adequate however I'm still bothered by the inaccurate description of the water depth and feel I was mislead.
I would have given the product 5 stars (for what it is) if it weren't for this and nearly gave a lower rating.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase however I would have gone with a deeper pool if the description correctly reflected the actual depth of 32".

Pool Measurements

Q:Â

Good Morning, I have previously asked the question regarding measurements of the pool. It states that the pool is 13.5 x 7.1. Can you please confirm if this includes the metal frames or not, we are preparing the ground and yard for the dimensions.

Also, there are no covers for this pool, does that include a solar blanket that may work with the pool dimensions?

We are preparing the ground work within the week.

Hello,

If you are referring to how far the steel U supports stick out from the liner, the supplier has indicated that you should allow for 4 feet on all sides of the pool (this is in the instruction manual).

Is the pool 13.5 x 7.1 including the metal frames, if not are the metal frames 1 foot or 2 feet outside the pool dimensions?

With this pool size, is there a solar cover available at sears? I read above about a cover, but a solar blanket I believe is different.

Hello dlynng,

Our supplier has indicated that the metal frames are just a few inches outside the pool dimensions. If you are measuring a space needed for the pool, the supplier would suggest at least 2 extra feet as you have the filter pump as well.

Filter pump for the Bestway 7 x 14.5 ft. pool

We purchased this Bestway 7 x 14.5 ft. pool for our grandkids. I do not believe that the filter pump is doing what it is suppose to do. It is not circulating the water at all. I have watched the videos on some of the bestway pools and with the capacity of water that this pool holds (2126 gallons), it shows a much larger pump. This pump should be operating a pool with 330, 530 or 800 gallons. Is there a mistake with this pump?? Thank you.

Just wondering how level the ground has to be to use this pool considering it has supports. How much prep has to go into the ground before set up.

If your pool appears to be bulging on one side it is not set up on level ground. It is important that you empty your pool and move the pool to a level site.

If the pool is not on level ground it will place undue stress on the seams and could result in the seams bursting which will cause flooding, property damage and potentially personalinjury or death.

Fill your pool following the instructions in the ownerâs manual carefully. This will ensure that you do not waste water and the pool can be moved easily so that the ground can be leveled at an appropriate time and not after you have completely filled it with water.
