Comments about Whole Home®/MD 'Ink And Water Peony Flower' Light-Filtering Roman Shade With Cord Wrap:

Bought 2 for my daughter's room. They look beautiful and were easy to install. They were more gray than I expected but I love them.

Comments about Whole Home®/MD 'Ink And Water Peony Flower' Light-Filtering Roman Shade With Cord Wrap:

I was quite disappointed with these shades considering I have had great experiences with the other Whole Home line of fabric shades (I have a bunch of them). Firstly, the fabric sticks to the shade with velcro, which would be fine except it looks ridiculous if you have to mount within the window frame (rather than above, where you can hide it). The instructions were also terrible. Thirdly, after three attempts at installation (at which point we threw the instructions out and just went with what seemed logical), we discovered the cord locking mechanism was broken. If we hadn't spent so much time trying to install the shade, I would have returned them. Rather, we installed the cord hook, and used that to keep the shade raised. Save your money and buy the cheaper, plain colour shades from Whole Home; they are better made.

The fabric of my pleats are not falling like the picture, they are all bunched up. Are the metal rods supposed to come out before installation?

      A:

      Hello Karka,

Please be advised that the metal rods are not suppose to come out, they are there for the shade to fold in those lines. It sounds like the cords have become uneven and need to be straighten out. If you pull the blind completely up and make sure all the cords are even before lowering them, it should not bunch up. One other thing to look at is if all the hooks on the back of the blind are fastened correctly. If one is disconnected, it would cause the blind to not pull up evenly. If you need further assistance, you may send an email to: lhunter8@cogeco.ca.

Thank you for shopping at Sears. Have a great day!
