I had been looking for pinch pleat drapes for years, needed something reasonable but not of cheap quality. Hadn't done any catalog shopping in years. In the midst of the Christmas rush, what do I behold but the most gorgeous drapes, where did I find them? Of all places in the Sears catalog. I thought, what the hey and ordered them thinking that they would be horrible. To my surprise they are lovely, good quality, the right color and didn't take long for the order to come. Sears you've once again sold me on catalog shopping as well as delivering the goods with these beautiful drapes and tie backs. Thank you. I love the quality, easy of hanging (hooks were even supplied with directions for hanging). They look elegant, when closed keep out the light as well as the cold. Excellent product, good workmanship and quality. I would definately recommend the to one and all.

Very disappointed. Seemed fine when I got them out and loved that there were hooks provided. It was a sunny day when my husband hung them out and I realized I could see dots of light through the drapes. On closer inspection I found many tiny holes all over the drapes. These were through both the material and insulation and appeared to be on crease lines where drapes had been folded by manufacturer. It is hard to find pinch pleated drapes right now so still looking

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

These drapes were so creased that I could not get the wrinkles out. The picture in the catalogue showed them as a beautiful drapery, the fabric was coarse, good for a cottage on the lake.

excellent curtains

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

The curtains were exactly as described. Very good quality for room darkening and the insulation will keep the cold winter outside. I am very happy with the product. The hanging pins were not flimsy, but not the sharpest points for inserting in the pinch pleats. Required a little bit of work. I much prefer to old fashion hanging pins.

Ordered two pair and both had flaws. The light still came through and they looked like plastic table clothes hanging on the windows.

    Not worth the money

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

I bought these drapes because we had cold drafts coming in our living room windows. They seem to stop some of the cold, but not all of it. I was disappointed with the quality. I expected something better. They have small holes in them, all over the place, not just in one area. I ironed then, but you really cannot tell, as they just look cheap.

    Cons

    • don't hang nicely
    • too lightweight for price

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

there was nothing really wrong with these drapes, the colour was true to the picture, and the pleats were okay, but overall they just didn't measure up to the price I had to pay for them. They are stiff so don't hang nicely and the material is lightweight, not the quality an insulated drape should be. I returned them. Last year I bought the Baxter pleated drapes and really, really, liked them, but they weren't available this year. At this time I also bought the Claudette pleated drapes. They are much nicer, heavy weight, well insulated, and hang nicely, but unfortunately I couldn't get them in all the colours I wanted.

      An unusual use

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

Our church bought the drapes to hang on an archway between 2 Sunday school areas. Benefits which we see aare that the insulation reduces noise. We chose a mushroom colour as the youngsters are going to paint a mural on the drapes in the future. This colour will give them a wonderful backdrop for the middle east. Benefits which we hadn't anticipated are that we can now put on a minor stage production and also the reduction in light helps us better use the projector in the inner area. It will also help us reducae the area which is being heated all the time.

        These drapes hang beautifully

Comments about WholeHome®/MD 'Kingsley' Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:

I picked up these drapes to use as side panels in the family room. The colour matched the catalogue description, and the material is heavy enough that I didn't have to iron the panels before hanging them. Good quality for a very reasonable price.

I was surprised at how thin they were, didn't think they'd work. Very pleasantly surprised. For such inexpensive drapes they look very classy. Not only do they keep the light out and warm the room, the room looks much cosier.
