I would say the price worth it. I am very happy to find such a rod for my windows. Very easy to install without any sort of hookup that I liked the most. The strength is enough to hold my curtains.

                      Hello,

The Umbra® Chroma' Steel Tension Rod is designed to hold up to 40 pounds but we would suggest using the centre support. It should fit wall to wall if you choose the correct length but we do recommend installing as per the manufacturers instructions.

Do the ends screw off: I wanted to know if the ends screw off to use a grommet style drape or do you have to use curtain rings. Or if my question is confusing what style drape goes on this rod. This rod would be perfect for my window.
